Reference to Google Analytics
The TechSpark Academy website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text data files which are stored on your computer and enable your website use to be analysed. As a rule, the information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will be transferred to a Google server in the USA where it will be stored.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities and provide further services concerning website use and Internet use to the website operator. The IP address transferred by your browser in the Google Analytics framework will not be combined with other Google data.
Google Analytics has been extended on the TechSpark Academy website by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure anonymised recording of IP addresses (known as IP masking). Your IP address will be abbreviated by Google before it is transferred. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google Server in the USA and abbreviated there.
You may prevent storage of the cookies by making a suitable setting of your browser software; however, we wish to point out that you may then not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website. In addition, you may prevent recording of the data generated by the cookie about your website use including your IP address by Google and the processing of such data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in which is available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

By using Twitter and the “Re-Tweet” function, the websites visited by you will be linked to your Twitter account and disclosed to other users. Further information on this subject can be found in the Facebook data protection declaration at: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

c) Google+ Plugin
Our web pages use functions of Google+. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Collection and transfer of information: using the Google+ button you can publish information worldwide. Via the Google+ button, you and other users obtain personalised contents from Google and our partners. Google stores the information that you have indicated for a +1 content and information about the page which you viewed after clicking on +1. Google records information about your +1 activities so as to improve Google services for you and other persons. To enable the Google+ button to be used, you must have a public Google profile that can be viewed anywhere in the world and must contain at the very least the name chosen for the profile. That name will be used in all Google services. In some cases, that name may also replace a different name which you used when sharing contents via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile may be displayed to users who know your e-mail address or have other information enabling you to be identified.
Use of the collected information: apart from the purposes of use explained above, the information provided by you will be used in compliance with the applicable Google data protection provisions. Google may publish summarised statistics of users’ +1 activities or disclose such information to users and partners such as publishers, advisers or linked websites.

Instagram can then associate the visit to our web pages with your user account. We wish to point out that we, as the web pages provider, have no knowledge of the contents of the data which have been transferred and of the use made of them by Instagram.
Further information on this matter can be found in the Instagram data protection declaration: https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
